Ashley and Jay – Part I – The Indian Ceremony

How gorgeous is this ceremony?  Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE vibrant colors…I mean a lot…and you’re about to see some serious color right now.  The vibrancy, joy, and love are so apparent in these beautiful Mi Belle Photography  images you can’t help but smile.  I love that the couple chose to honor both of their cultures (perfectly, I might add) for their big day (you’ll see Part II – the American ceremony & reception – in just a bit!)  The Indian ceremony took place at the Santa Barbara Fess Parker’s Doubletree Resort overlooking the blue Pacific ocean.  The wonderful Donna Romani  of Donna Romani Events made sure the whole day went off without a hitch…as usual!  Congrats Ashley and was a perfect day no doubt!! Enjoy!

Tish and Frank

Aren’t these two adorable!?!?  And if you can’t tell from the photos…they’re a serious bundle of fun!  They both have the kind of smile that’s infectious….and they certainly know how to throw down a damn good party.  We’ve known Tish and Frank for some time now and we were super honored to have been a part of their vibrant, happy, beach-fantastic celebration in Malibu.  All kinds of cuteness goin’ on here.  Coral and aqua….I mean what could be cheerier?  We love you Tish and Frank! xoxoxo!!! Tricia and Sam

One word for these two: cool.  Enough said.  BLAST working with the All You Need is Love Events girls and Braedon Photography on this one.  And as always, the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa was a stunning backdrop.  We were excited to have this wedding featured on Style Me Pretty too!!! Enjoy!

Brandy and Moe On Style Me Pretty

So happy to have Brandy and Moe’s rockin Bacara Resort wedding featured on SMP’s Little Black Book .  One of our very favorite couples!  We so enjoyed working with Donna Romani Events and Michael and Anna Costa Photographers on this one!

Brie and Tom

What a charming Maravilla Gardens wedding!  Brie and Tom put so much love and personality into their special day.  Brie and her twin sister Jenny are the brains and creativity behind the Bren fashion line….so we could hardly wait to see the wedding gown she had designed for her big day.  And it did not disappoint!!  Gorgeousness.  Brie and her girls even made all of the baby’s breath bouquets and boutonnieres. And then there’s Tom, a strikingly handsome Brit and one of the sweetest grooms around.  One of our favorite personal touches was the pre-ceremony biscuits and jam…a nod to Tom’s heritage no doubt.  This event was filled with all kinds of sweetness.  A big thanks to Jenny Smith at Alders Photography for sharing these stunning images….she couldn’t have done a better job capturing this beautiful day.  Congrats Brie and Tom!

Terri and Mike

Terri and Mike got married at the Santa Barbara Zoo….how fun is that!?!  This was a happy, vibrant, quirky, one-of-a-kind wedding that spoke volumes about the couple and what they’re all about.  Congrats Terri and Mike!  Thanks to Jihan Abdalla for sharing these great images!

Erin and Dan

Yet another absolutely gorgeous couple…inside and out.  When Mi Belle Photography blogged this wedding a while back I think they used the term “love fest” to describe the vibe of this couple and their big day.  Though we usually miss most of the actual wedding it’s easy to see from the photos that this was one extraordinary wedding…and we’re not surprised at all.  Erin and Dan are both one of a kind…charming, funny, and really easy to work with.  They chose white, deep teal, and gold with little pops of orange and I must say it worked so well with this lush organic venue (Hartley Botanica in Somis).  Congrats to Erin and Dan!

Nicole and Seth

Nothing quite like a sexy, modern, luxury hotel wedding!  Nicole and Seth’s chic Luxe Hotel wedding was pretty much perfection.    The palette of white, soft gray, and mustard lent itself perfectly to this Sunset Blvd boutique hotel with its modern shades of steely-taupe.  Nicole’s bouquet was a soft bundle of fragrant white garden roses, lush white and mustard ranunculus, freesia, earthy scabiosa pods, pale gray hand-painted succulents, and velvety gray dusty miller.  The boys wore hand-crafted bundles of gray echeveria succulents, mustard bachelor button, geranium foliage, and dusty miller.  The chuppah was dressed in soft white and gray with stark white hydrangea and lisianthus.  For the post-ceremony celebration we alternated high and low centerpieces utilizing modern white textured vases and clean-lined yet textural florals.  Michelle from Mi Belle captured every detail like only a rock-star photographer could….the girl got mad skills.  What a gorgeous wedding!  Congrats again to this beautiful couple!

Lexi and Jon

I know we’ve said it many times before but it bears repeating. We seriously LOVE what we do!!! We get to meet great people…make new friends…take part in a hugely important day of their lives….and most of all we get to laugh with them….sometimes really hard. We’re pretty convinced we work with the best couples out there….and Jon and Lexi are proof. I mean come on….our first meeting with these two involved burger and beer recommendations from Jon…he even went over to Bevmo and bought us a little sampling of his favorite brews…beyond charming. We certainly all share a passion for the finer (or finest, in our opinion) things in life. Lexi is a beautiful, super sweet, and totally laid-back kinda bride. She didn’t want much fuss or to-do for her big day…just a casual-homey-fun vibe. We adore their son Frankie…he came to the first meeting too. He informed us that his mom had allowed him to pick out the wedding cake. His first thought was a Transformers cake…but then he settled on a cake covered in sprinkles (you know…the donut/ice cream kind)…..which we thought was a grand idea (and it turned out really cute too as you’ll see!). The vibe of this wedding was spectacular…it really suited the three of them perfectly. We’re so honored to have been a part of it. Cheers to Lexi and Jon and Frankie!
